Not much work going on right now

This is my Amelia in the middle going to have fun with her schoolmates ( all of them) that just finished they're AS. They had somebody sew them Superman outfits and went around town all day in them. This was so much fun for them.

Then the day arrived and she graduated from school. She was beautiful that day like always my good little girl. She even got an award for good study in foreign language. My girl.

Then off they went to Tenerife on trip with they're schoolmates. This picture was taken at three Alcock in the morning, when her and her friend were on they're way.

We had a party to celebrate this big day with her. This is a floral arrangement that I had someone make. Good thing I took a picture of it the moment it came in, be corse it started to die the next day. That makes me so mad, I just think they put old flowers in it to use them up. Huhhh...

Anyway. Since my hand still hurts sooooo bad, and I can not do any crocheting and really not much knitting, I have been trying to sew a little more. Amelia saw a bag in my stuff that she wanted for her trips.

So off we went to buy fabric and that is what she came up with. She wanted it light in color but at the same time kind of cool. I think it turned out pretty good.

It is big, and good for traveling. I used something new to me, that I order from the Internet http://www.byannie.com/shop/product/byannie-soft-and-stable-18-white/

This new thing is called soft and stable. The pattern for the bag is from sew sweetness

I like her pattern a lot, it has good instructions and a lot of pictures. I am going to make myself one before I go traveling this summer.

This was a project that I did. These are rugs that I made out of old towel and some scraps of materials. Ugly but I guess they will work on the cars or maby cleaning the bathrooms. ;-) I like my kitchen rugs to bee knitted or crochet, they are the best in my apinion.

You know I can not stay away from the yarn completely so I made this sweater for my little one. (Like he does not have plenty already)

This thing with my hand is driving me nuts. I am not good at sitting and doing nothing, and that seems to bee the way too get rid of the pain. Last time the doctore saw me he sead that if it did not get better with the tablets that he gave me, he was going to put a cast on my hand. Needles to say, I did not go back to him. Do you know how that would bee, I could do nothing, not even take a shower. :o(

That is something I like to do.

Little green sweater

This little sweater is knitted out of alpaca wool that I bought about a year ago. I was going to make a dress for me out of it but did not like it, and it was way to big on me. So I frogged it and that gave me some stash yarn to work with. The color is pretty green and it has a lot of life in it if you know what I am trying to say. The pattern is in a little book that I have, and I have made a lot of stuff out of it.
This is my May stash buster protect so I am trying to get it in before midnight. ;) I also made the Spider-Man blanket and finished that, but the little guy came by the house sooner than I expected him and got the blanket and I forgot to take a picture of it. ;( That was also a stash buster course I had all the red and black in my stash and only had to buy the blue.
This stash buster is going pretty good I think, the worst thing is that I don't see that much difference on my stash. The good thing though is that I have been finishing a lot of WISP that I had.
That is good.

Little work these days

These days are slow and not so much knitting or crocheting. The reason is that my hand is hurting and I don't know why. I think it has something to do with over working it on crafts or something but I am not telling mr. HR about that. I already have a doctors appointment on Thursday and see if he can figure out what is wrong.

I have been babysitting the grand kids now these days. And on top of that I got these cool apps that I can play with. Fun fun fun...

Remember this? Well even though my hand is hurting, I still kept on going on the Spider-Man blanket and finished that yesterday. Be corse I am at my daughters house, I have not washed it or blocked it so I will take a picture of it when I am done. Believe me it is so cute, unbelievable fun to make something like that.

Also, I have done what I seem to always do, try out som new squares. This is strange, I do that all the time. I really should take picture of some of them and show you.

Anyway, I made this little square and I really like it so much that I am thinking about making something with it. I am thinking about all pastels with white around like the one I made.

But then agin, something else might come up and grasp my attention. ;)

Have a wonderful day

Sunny but windy

Noting much on the home front. Bautiful sunshine, but not so warm. Our president had his birthday this week, so we put up our flag, beautiful isn't it. ;)

These are busy days for the vet, the othe day a lady brought a caf here that has a broken leg and Gunnar had to put a cast on it.

My little kitties are soooo cute, actually they are not kitties anymore but they are always going to be my little kitties. ;) I got visitors that spent the night and I was going to put the blankets away, but I must have blinked, be corse my older cat Sabrina was a sleep on the blankets before I knew it, so I had to take a picture of her. Then I was knitting with my knitting bag open next to me, when all of a sudden my little kittie was in the bag. I had to get the iPad to take a picture (I think she even smiled a little) no maby not but she was happy in there and fell a sleep.

Today has been sunny and windy, cold but perfect for laundry drying, so that is what I have been doing.

A little bit of everything

This is a cover for my Gabriel's duvet. I embroider they're last name on it so they can use it for all the baby Warrens that will come. ;)
This is just something that I wanted to make for myself out of all kind of pretty fabric that I like. I already started to quilt it and I think it is going to be really cute when I am done. We are going to meat tonight and quilt. We are three friends that call our selves SMS and meat when we can and quilt. SMS stands for the first letters in our names.

That is my latest project in the stash buster. I am making a Spider-Man blanket for my grandson. It is a stash buster be corse I had the red and black yarn, but I had to buy the blue yarn, so it is half stash buster. ;)

Sitting in the car knitting

I am sitting in the car waiting for the mr. I have about half an hour to kill, so I of corse am knitting. I am making a little sweater out off my stash of corse. That is alpaca wool from Drops, wonderful soft yarn and knitting needles # 3. I have that little book that has beautiful baby stuff to knitt, and I have made a lots of stuff from it.

As I am sitting here, I started looking at the scenery and had to take picture and show you.

And then I saw this GREEN spot ;) I just had to take a picture and show you that spring is really here. ;-)

Blue baby sweater

Ones up on a time I bought this light blue yarn for a top for myself. I do not like blue color all that much, so after I knitted a little bit, I saw that this was not going to work for me. So I did what I so often do. I quit and put it away.

Then came "stash buster". I made up my mind, and decided this wold be my May protect. The other day I ripped it apart, and started a sweater for my little baby boy, Gabriel.

So amma went to work on this sweater, and finished it over the weekend.

This was a fast and easy project, and all made up as I knitted. My own design, and best of all.

A STASH BUSTER.

More to come
