I am not a good blogger I know. But here is what I have been up to. I got a beautiful little prinsess on newyears eve. I got to bee there with the parents when she was born, and they even gave her my middle name, Soffia. She is such a darling little (big) girl, that was 11 pounds, 2 ounces and 23 inches long when she was born (5080gr and 58cm long). I love her so, that beautiful little girl.
The other day I was working at the yarn store and put together this pile of yarn that fits right for these hexagons, that by the way I saw at cocorose blog that I love, and this is her picture obove. I have not taken any pictures of my hexagons yet, but that will come later.
Another thing that I am going to try in february is not to buy any new yarn, so I am going to have to use what I have here at home. That is going to be very hard, but I know I can do it. ;-)
I signed up for a art class on line, and that is my fairy prinsess that I made for the class. Now this is my first thing that I make and the class is all year, so hopefully it gets better as the year goes by.

Hello Edda, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy to hear from you.. What a lovely wee Princess. How exciting she has your middle name.. I love the crochet blanket is in lying on.. I do not have mine like it completed yet. I am sure your wash clothes will be as lovely as the photo. Your watercolor painting is very pretty. I also took a watercolor class and I quickly found out I had NO talent for it and gave up very quickly. I wish you better luck.. Here we have 2 feet of snow in our front yard. For 2 months all we've had is one snow blizzard after another. It has been a very awful and very cold Winter. Spring can not come too soon in my humble opinion. ReplyDeleteYour drawing and water coloring is so sweet and I cant wait to see what comes out to play with the rest of your assignment this year in that class. I am so excited about the class and Im not even in it BUT its so good to see you getting your creativity out there in a different form than your use to.
Before I sign off, your blanket is going to be great. I am too hesitant about a hexagon blanket, maybe in the far future I might give it a go ;)
